US Pro Cycling Challenge: Forecast for Stage #2

Posted by & filed under Event Forecasts.

The biggest weather story on Wednesday could be a thunderstorm as the riders cross Independence Pass. Also, winds will be an issue. The first half of Wednesday’s stage should give the riders a light tailwind, while the second half will provide a light to moderate headwind or crosswind. Don’t dismiss these winds, as a day-long headwind on Tuesday’s stage #1 tired much of the field. Follow http://www.twitter.com/chanceofweather for live tweets during the race.
